The strong temporal late afternoon this Saturday (27) caused several points of water accumulation in Canoas.
There is reports of points with accumulations of water in the following neighborhoods: Centro, Igara, Guajuviras, Mathias Velho, Marechal Rondon, Nossa Senhora das Graças, Olaria and Rio Branco.
Roads with water accumulation points:
Rua 15 de Janeiro, in the Center;
Avenida Boqueirão between Liberdade and Farroupilha;
Avenida Rio Grande do Sul at the entrance to Mathias Velho;
Sections of Avenida 17 de Abril;
Avenida do Nazário;
Dr. Barcelos;
Armando Fajardo;
In some neighborhoods, residents report a lack of electricity.
Teams on the street
According to Canoas City Hall, teams from the Municipal Department of Works (SMO) are on the streets and there are no reports of problems in the pump houses spread across the city. In addition, Traffic Inspection agents are guiding the flow on sections of roads that present problems caused by the storm.
