O Prince William updated his wife’s health status, Kate Middletonduring a visit to a hospital on the Isles of Scilly, an archipelago off the coast of Cornwall, southwest England.
In one of the royal’s few comments about Kate’s condition, William said the Princess of Wales “is doing well” during cancer treatment, when questioned by Tracy Smith, a hospital administrator.
“I asked William about his wife Kate and he said ‘she’s doing well, thank you,’” Smith told reporters. “And I suggested if they would like to come for a visit and bring the kids.”
William traveled to the site to inaugurate the construction of a new building that will include treatment beds and the expansion of a maternity ward. He also met with local business people, children and harbor users whilst visiting St Mary’s Harbour, the sea gateway to the Isles of Scilly.
The Princess of Wales stepped back from her public duties after announcing on March 22 that she had been diagnosed with cancer. In a video message, she said she had started chemotherapy.

On January 16, Kate underwent abdominal surgery and has not made public appearances since, sparking speculation. In the message, she says that at the time she was told that her condition was not cancerous, but the presence of the tumor was later discovered.
The news came after the King Charles IIIyour father-in-law, also announced that he was undergoing treatment for cancer. Charles returned to public activities last week after the Buckingham Palace stated that doctors were encouraged by his progress. Your treatment still continues. /AP
