“He’s already out. This is not my thing, it was done by the board. His manager spoke to me and I went to check on him. There is no way back, it is a decision made”, declared Cuca after the 1-0 victory over Operário, in the semi-final of the Campeonato Paranaense.

Petterson, however, will also not be able to return to Flamengo. This is because he has a contract with Furacão until the end of the season – with the right to purchase with a value set at 3 million euros (R$16 million).

For now, the attacker continues training at alternative times at CT do Caju. One solution would be for both parties to look for a new club for the player.

The 20-year-old striker arrived at Athletico at the end of January, as a highlight of Flamengo’s youth team, and debuted by scoring the winning goal against Londrina after just two minutes on the field, on February 10, in the eighth round of Paranaense. Since then, he has not been involved in any matches.
