Flamengo and Internacional thrash in the Brazilian Under-20 Women’s Championship

Triple round in the Brazilian Under-20 Women’s Football Championship! This Wednesday (27), there were three matches valid for the fifth round of the group stage of the Brazilian Under-20 Women’s Championship. Flamengo beat Cefama-MA 7-0, Internacional beat Avaí Kindermann 10-0, while the classic Vovô between Botafogo and Fluminense ended in a 2-2 draw.

Goleadas

Starting with the Colorado super victory. The Inter Girls welcomed the Avaí Kindermann team at home, at Sesc Protásio Alves. Crushing 10-0 victory, with goals from Gabi Inácio (2x), Ketlin, Torres, Bianca Martins, Milenna, Joana (2x), Laura and Yngrid Piauí. Thus, Internacional U20 Feminino reaches 15 points, 100% success, and with the leadership of Group B in the championship. The Santa Catarina team accumulated their fourth defeat in five games, and is in last place in Group A, with 3 points.

The mengão also did well! Playing at home, in Gávea, the red-and-black girls defeated Cefama, from Maranhão, 7-0. The winning goals were scored by Pimenta (2x), Duda Rodrigues, Diovanna, Anna Luiza, Gica and Núbia. The result kept Flamengo Feminino U20 at the top of Group C, with 12 points in five games. In turn, the Maranhão team remains in third place in Group D, with 4 points.

Rio classic

Finally, in the Vovô classic, Fluminense hosted Botafogo, in Laranjeiras, and let the victory slip away in the final minutes. Leticia Debiasi, from Botafogo, opened the scoring in the first half. In the second stage, Tifane and Rayka turned the score around, but saw – in extra time – the Gloriosas equalized, with Geizi’s goal. Thus, Fluminense remains in second place in Group C, with 10 points. Meanwhile, Botafogo is in first place in Group D, with 13 points won.
