Galaxy Unpacked: Samsung expected to announce Galaxy Ring and foldables in July

Samsung traditionally holds an event in the middle of the year to announce new devices, especially the line of foldable smartphones. And, apparently, the 2024 edition already has a guaranteed date and location.

On July 10th, in Paris, France, Samsung is expected to present the new Galaxy Z Fold and Flip, in addition to the Galaxy Ring smart ring. This is what the SamMobile website says, adding that the Korean manufacturer should take advantage of all the attention that the world will give to the French capital in the coming months, with the 2024 Olympic Games.

After launching the Galaxy S24 line at the beginning of the year, Samsung’s next big smartphone announcements are expected to include the Z Flip and Z Fold foldable devices. The sixth generation of flexible devices should not bring any major innovations from a design point of view, being more of an update and improvement of hardware from recent years.

There is still the possibility that Samsung will launch a cheaper foldable, but it is not yet clear whether this will happen in 2024 or further in the future.

In addition to cell phones, the Korean company should also update the line of smart watches with the Galaxy Watch7, and the TWS Galaxy Buds headphones should also gain a new generation.

However, the main attraction must be the Galaxy Ring smart ring, equipped with Galaxy AI artificial intelligence. Samsung has already confirmed the existence of the device and should take advantage of the mid-year event to detail how it works, in addition to announcing the launch date and price.
