A leak of supposed documents from 2023, with data recorded until June last year, is giving the PlayStation community something to talk about this Saturday morning. A post on ResetEra, which was shared by the Insider Gaming website, provides historical download and revenue statistics for Sony’s first-party games on the PlayStation Store, giving a good idea of how crucial the platform is for the company.
The list has the numbers referring to 585 games and shows how many times each title was downloaded and how much money it generated. The material is quite robust and confirms something that everyone already imagined: the exclusives, of course, make an absurd amount of money for the Japanese company.

In the Top 3 alone, made up of Marvel’s Spider-Man, God of War Ragnarok and The Last of Us Part II, there are 18.8 million downloads and more than US$830 million raised. The list has some interesting curiosities, with Uncharted 4, for example, outside the Top 10 and behind Days Gone. Check out the Top 15 in PS Store revenue below:

Marvel’s Spider-Man appears in the leak as the top 1 in revenue, with US$315 million generated based on 8.3 million downloads. The Miles Morales spin-off also appears in the Top 5, with US$231 million and 5.1 million downloads.
