INSS starts paying 13th installments to retirees and pensioners this Wednesday (24)

Payment of the annual bonus to Social Security beneficiaries, also known as “INSS 13th”, begins this Wednesday (24). for those who receive up to 1 minimum wage. For those who earn more, payments begin on May 2nd.

People who, in 2024, have received aid for temporary incapacity, accident aid, retirement, death pension or imprisonment aid from Social Security will be entitled to the benefit. More than 33.7 million will benefit.

Traditionally, the allowance would be paid in the second half of each year. However, in recent years, the government began to bring forward the benefit with the aim of stimulating the economy. In 2022 and 2023, for example, the bonus was paid in May and June.

According to the decree, The allowance will be paid in two installments. See below.

▶️ FOR THOSE WHO RECEIVE UP TO 1 MINIMUM WAGE

• NIS Final: 1 – payments in 24/4 and 24/5
• NIS Final: two – payments in 4/25 and 5/27
• NIS Final: 3 – payments in 4/26 and 5/28
• NIS Final: 4 – payments in 4/29 and 5/29
• NIS Final: 5 – payments in 4/30 and 5/31
• NIS Final: 6 – payments in 2/5 and 3/6
• NIS Final: 7 – payments in 3/5 and 4/6
• NIS Final: 8 – payments in 6/5 and 5/6
• NIS Final: 9 – payments in 7/5 and 6/6
• NIS Final: 0 – payments in 8/5 and 7/6

• NIS Final: 4 and 9 – payments in 7/5 and 6/6
• NIS Final: 5 and 0 – payments in 8/5 and 7/6
