Taylor Swift, Magic Johnson and Shein owners join Forbes list of billionaires

A Forbes billionaires list in 2024 broke a record with 2,781 people around the world this year. The total and unprecedented value reaches US$ 14.2 trillion.

In total, 265 new billionaires joined the select group. Among them, many famous people like Taylor Swift It is Magic Johnson. They control $510 billion in wealth – $1.9 billion on average.

The most famous newcomer, without a doubt, is pop singer Taylor Swift, owner of a fortune valued at US$1.1 billion.

Former basketball player and businessman Earvin Magic Johnson also made the list and has an estimated net worth of US$1.2 billion.

Maggie Gu, Molly Miao and Ren Xiaoqing, worth an estimated US$4.2 billion each, who founded fashion giant Shein, also made their debuts in the rankings.

However, the richest among them is Todd Graves, founder of the fast-food chain Raising Cane’s, whose net worth is estimated at $9.1 billion.
