A few years ago, Tom Holland had already revealed what could be the perfect story for Spider-Man 4, which could spell trouble for Peter Parker’s Spider-Man in the MCU.

X-MEN, DAREDEVIL AND ALL DEADPOOL 3 PARTICIPATIONS

Holland debuted as Peter Parker in the 2016 film Captain America: Civil War, following a deal between Marvel Studios and Sony to integrate Spider-Man into the MCU.

Since then, the character has become a central figure in the MCU, starring in his own solo trilogy and playing an important role in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. However, after Spider-Man: No Return Home, the character’s future is uncertain.

Little is known about Spider-Man 4, but the film can explore multiple plots, whether in the multiverse or as a more urban adventure. Regardless of which direction the story goes, Holland may have hinted at a significant event in the film that would change the MCU forever.

Tom Holland Wants to Stop Playing Spider-Man at Age 30

During a 2021 interview, Holland reflected on his role as Spider-Man, indicating that his time in the role may be coming to an end. He mentioned that if he continued playing the character past the age of 30, something would be wrong.

Currently 27 years old, that gives Marvel Studios approximately three years of Holland in the role. He also spoke about the possibility of acting in “Spider-Man 4, 5 and 6” and end at age 32.

Holland suggested that he would like to see a more diverse Spider-Man in the MCU, like Miles Morales or Cindy Moon. Miles Morales is a version of Spider-Man in Marvel’s Ultimate universe, and well known to cinema fans for the Aranhaverso animations.

Ja Cindy Moon became Silk after being bitten by the same spider that gave Peter Parker abilities. Cindy has already appeared in the MCU, played by Tiffany Espensen, but has not yet revealed herself as Silk, something that could happen in the next Spider-Man trilogy.

Spider-Man 4 is perfect for including a new Spider-Man

Spider-Man 4 It’s the perfect time to introduce a new Spider-Man. After No Return HomePeter is completely alone, with no friends or allies.

This creates the opportunity to mentor a new hero. Donald Glover, who appeared as Miles Morales’ uncle in Homecoming, mentioned his nephew, but since then, neither Aaron Davis nor Miles Morales have appeared in the MCU.

Glover’s return in Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse could set the stage for his participation in Spider-Man 4bringing several arachnid heroes together and setting up Holland’s emotional departure from the MCU.

Although the fourth film could be Holland’s last adventure as Spider-Man, Marvel has not yet adapted many stories from the comics for the MCU.

It would be advantageous for fans if the actor remained for the entire trilogy, ending in Spider-Man 6. This would nicely conclude his MCU journey, giving him the opportunity to find and train a suitable replacement.

Peter Parker debuted in Marvel comics in 1962 and Marvel Studios has barely explored his countless stories. Tom Holland still has a lot to tell before leaving the MCU in Spider-Man 4but the clock on his role as Peter Parker is ticking.
