Former student who invaded Jardim da Penha school is identified and taken to prison

Henrique Lira Trad, 18, a former student at Éber Louzada Zippinotti school, in Jardim da Penha, Vitória, was arrested in the act this Friday (19) for attempted murder for a futile reason, with impossibility of defending the victim. and against minors under 14 years of age. He was taken to the duty of the Specialized Department of Homicide and Protection of Persons (DEHPP) after being arrested at the school with ninja knives, arrows and Molotov cocktails and threatening to kill students and staff at the institution. His name was confirmed by the Civil Police.

The suspect was taken to the Viana Triage Center, where he would undergo a custody hearing this Saturday morning (20), scheduled for 8:28 am. According to the website of the Court of Justice of Espírito Santo (TJES), the process was placed under judicial secrecy.

According to a PC source, two employees and a child (a student at the institution) were victims of attempted murder using a white weapon, a crossbow, which shoots arrows. In the document it was also reported by witnesses that the suspect was prevented by the doorman from entering the main entrance.

FIRE MISSED

Unable to gain access, Henrique went to a side gate and entered the school. Soon after, the former student went to the teachers’ lounge, where he found a coordinator. The young man pointed the crossbow in her direction and fired, which missed.

After the failure, the young man tried to enter classrooms, but could not because students and teachers had set up barricades with desks behind the doors. According to Major Isaac Rubim, from the Military Police, in an interview with Rádio CBN Vitória, the former student also locked the padlock of the main access to the school to prevent people from escaping.

Upstairs, he faced another coordinator and again fired the gun. This time, the arrow was fired and hit the woman’s leg. Henrique still tried to shoot a child, but the shot also failed.

The document obtained by the report of A Gazeta also mentions that a Physical Education teacher took advantage of the suspect’s carelessness and managed to take down the shooter until the arrival of the police, which occurred shortly after.
