Heading towards a crucial clash in the middleweight division (up to 83.9kg.), Caio Borralho adopted a sincere stance and analyzed confrontation against Paul Craig. Scheduled to face each other in Rio de Janeiro, the fighters will be part of the UFC 301, which takes place on May 4th. Happy to be fighting in Brazil again, the athlete promised an unprecedented outcome in a duel against the Scotsman.

Paul Craig He’s a very experienced guy. A guy who has already beaten (Maurício) Shogun, is a national idol, has several fights against Brazilians, several victories. But he doesn’t have a very good record coming to Rio, no (…) I’m happy, happy to get a guy who is ahead of me in the rankings, which is what I deserved. Happy to be fighting in Brazil. He’s going to be knocked out, you can be sure,” said Borralho in an interview with UFC.

As he continued speaking, Caio highlighted positive and negative sides seen in his rival’s game.

Paul Craig He’s a guy who tries to do a little bit of everything. He is very aggressive on his feet, comes forward, even a little irresponsible on his feet. If he stretches a lot, he throws a few blows, nothing to do with it. He had a very bad double leg and now he improved it, but still without much time in the takedown. He is an opponent who has a very good guard. He’s a guy underneath that we can’t sleep on,” he concluded.
