Agreements signed by AGU will speed up works on BRs 235 and 101, in Bahia

A The Federal Attorney General’s Office (AGU) signed 82 agreements within the scope of expropriations actions proposed in the judicial representation of the National Department of Transport Infrastructure (Dnit) to enable works on BRs 235 and 101, in Bahia. The conciliations will enable the payment of R$3.1 million to property owners near the highways and will speed up infrastructure projects.

The agreements were signed during joint efforts held virtually and in person in Juazeiro (BA) and Alagoinhas (BA) throughout the month of April. The negotiations were conducted by the Inter-Regional Land and Indigenous Matters Team of the 1st and 6th Regions (ER-FDIN/PRF1/PRF6) and by the Specialized Federal Prosecutor’s Office at the Dnit (PFE/DNIT), in partnership with the Conciliation System of 1st Region (SistCon-TRF1) and the Judicial Conciliation Center of Bahia Valmira Moreira Lisboa Dórea.

The chief prosecutor of the DnitJúlio Cesar Barbosa Melo, and the substitute coordinator of ER-FDIN for the 1st and 6th Regions, Larissa Veloso Rosier de Menezes.

Two more joint efforts to conclude agreements in expropriation actions are scheduled to be held in May. On 7/5 and 8/5 in the city of Jeremoabo (BA), still for works on BR-235, and on 21/5 to 23/5 in Bom Jesus da Lapa (BA), for works on BRs 135 and 030.
