Sport signed a partnership with Arena de Pernambuco for another solidarity action in favor of the victims of the floods that occurred in Rio Grande do Sul. The rent that Leão would pay for the use of the modern stadium for the match against Brusque, next Saturday ( 11), will be allocated to the NGO Rede Muda Mundo, which will make the payments to those affected by the flood.
The agreement with Arena de Pernambuco was made during a meeting between President Yuri Romão and Secretary of Tourism of the State of Pernambuco, Daniel Coelho. “Pernambuco has always had the characteristic of having a supportive people. We thank the Arena and the State Department of Tourism and Leisure, who are helping us and enabling us to donate to our brothers in Rio Grande do Sul”, commented Yuri Romão.
The Secretary of Tourism and Leisure of Pernambuco, Daniel Coelho, highlighted that it is extremely important for everyone to come together in favor of our brothers from Rio Grande do Sul. “Any gesture of solidarity is relevant at this time. The State Government has already announced collection points for donations at the PMPE and Fire Department barracks, the Arena makes its income available now. Every action to minimize the effects of the climate emergency is valid”, stated Daniel Coelho.
This is yet another solidarity action that Leão promotes in this match against Santa Catarina. The club has already announced that tickets for the lower North sector will have a single price of R$10.00 and all proceeds will go to the people of Rio Grande do Sul. In addition, all tickets for the match and various locations at the Pernambuco Arena will have a QR Code for fans to make a donation directly to Rede Muda Mundo. To identify that the donation is made by the red and black fan, R$ 0.87 must be added to the amount to be donated.
