Project foresees a 5% increase in salary for health expenses, but only for delegates – Politics

Bill No. 02/2024 arrived at the Legislative Assembly of Mato Grosso do Sul yesterday (7) and was distributed today (8), which proposes adding to the salaries of Civil Police delegates a monthly installment corresponding to 5% of the class allowance Special.

The amount must be spent on health care. If approved and sanctioned, the payment will have an impact of R$7,061,558.90 on this year’s payroll, according to a study attached to the proposal. Next year, the value would rise to R$10,987,432.57.

The bill was presented by the Executive. In the justification, the caveat is that the increase is of a compensatory nature and cannot be incorporated into salaries after retirement, nor used in the calculation of bonuses and additional vacation benefits.

Adepol/MS (Association of Delegates of Mato Grosso do Sul) argues that payment can correct a distortion.

“This is an old desire of members of the Police Delegate career, as is the case with other legal or typical State careers. In this sense, Adepol argued and demonstrated in a structural way to the State Government that it it was about correcting a distortion to the detriment of the delegates, obtaining the demand met”, the association said in a statement.

CCJR – The project is in the CCJR (Constitution, Justice and Writing Committee) of the Assembly and its rapporteur is deputy Mara Caseiro (PSDB).

Without mentioning which ones, the state deputy, Pedro Caravina (PSDB), stated that other categories of public security already receive the same benefit and reinforced that the request complies with Adepol.

In addition to the delegates, another 46 classes of civil servants in the area present their demands this month, Caravina also said. In this sense, the Assembly may also analyze the request for parity in adjustments and benefits for retired Civil Police employees and pensioners, another project that entered the CCJR yesterday.

Negotiation table – The State Secretary of Administration, Frederico Felini, commented on the benefit to delegates in connection with the report.

He said that other categories within public security presented their proposals and that they will be analyzed individually. He does not rule out, however, that the benefit to delegates, if granted, could extend to other categories. “The government [Estadual] It’s still on the negotiating table,” he said.
