In a chat with the state deputy, Mauro De Nadal (MDB), president of the Legislative Assembly of Santa Catarina (Alesc), he said that the institution is getting closer to the people of Santa Catarina every day.

This is the objective of the “Alesc Itinerante” project, which organizes plenary sessions and committee meetings in hub cities in different regions of the state. The municipality of Blumenau will be the first seat of Parliament outside the Capital. From 7:30 am on May 7th, at Don Concept Hall, the press will be welcomed with a coffee break that precedes the press conference scheduled to start at 8 am. At 9 am, the committees meet and, in the afternoon, the plenary session takes place. The press can register by calling (48) 3221-2621 or (48) 99999-5928 (Whatsapp).

On May 8th, parliamentary activities will be repeated. The “Alesc Itinerante” takes the entire functioning of Parliament to the city in question – including holding committee meetings and ordinary sessions to vote on projects, and mainly with space for statements by local institutions. “We want to consolidate the spirit that led to the implementation of regional benches, with the valorization of agendas that deal with the community and not specific themes”, highlighted deputy Mauro De Nadal (MDB).

The project is part of the calendar to commemorate the 190th anniversary of the Legislative Assembly, created on August 12, 1834. “We want to have direct contact with the population who rarely have the opportunity to be on the premises of the Assembly, in Florianópolis”, highlights Mauro De Nadal. The other cities to host Parliament will be Joinville, Criciúma, Lages and Chapecó.

Check out the “Alesc Itinerante” calendar:

Blumenau: May 7th and 8th

Joinville: June 4th and 5th

Criciúma: July 9th and 10th

Lages: October 29th and 30th

Chapecó: November 12th and 13th
