New images released by the Mato Grosso Civil Police (PCMT) show the moment in which a mother and son invaded a house in the municipality of Peixoto de Azevedo, 692 kilometers from Cuiabá, and shot at least eight people who were gathered for a birthday party. birthday. The crime occurred on Sunday (21/4).

Cattle rancher Inês Gemilaki, aged 48, and her son, doctor Bruno Gemilaki Dal Poz, aged 28, were arrested last Tuesday (23/4) for the murder of two elderly people who were inside the house.

The victims were identified as Pilson Pereira da Silva, aged 69, and Rui Luiz Bogo, aged 81. In addition to them, a priest who was in the invaded house was hit by one of the shots and taken to the city hospital.

The police are working on the hypothesis that the crime was motivated by a debt of R$60,000, relating to rent, that the criminals owed to the owner of the house. The criminals’ target, however, escaped the shots.

According to PCMT, the cattle farmer’s brother-in-law and husband were also arrested, suspected of being involved in the crime. They must answer for the crimes of double homicide and criminal association.
