With the deadline for submitting the 2024 Income Tax Declaration approaching, many taxpayers are looking for help to deal with this process. The IBMR University Center, located in Rio de Janeiro, offers an accessible and specialized solution for those who need guidance at this time.
Through the Business Practice Center (NPN), IBMR provides service conducted by the Accounting and Tax Support Center (NAF), providing a conducive environment to clarify doubts and ensure the correct preparation of declarations.
It is worth noting that these services are only available to individuals residing in the city of Rio de Janeiro, not including services for legal entities. With the deadline for submitting the Declaration approaching on May 31, 2024, it is advisable to schedule your appointment as soon as possible to avoid last-minute setbacks.
Opening hours vary according to the unit: at the Botafogo unit, consultations are held on Mondays, from 5pm to 7pm, while at the Barra unit they take place on Thursdays, from 2pm to 6pm.
The students responsible for customer service were selected and trained internally, with guidance from undergraduate professors in Accounting Sciences at Centro Universitário IBMR. Additionally, they received specific training from the Federal Revenue Service, ensuring qualified support for taxpayers.
What to take?
To receive assistance, you must present basic documents such as ID, personal and dependent CPF, proof of recent residence in the name of the person served, bank details, income reports for 2023 (provided by every company), information about income and investments (provided by banks), all proof of medical expenses, teaching expenses, private pension expenses, rental receipts and, if possible, the previous year’s declaration as well.
“If the taxpayer does not take these documents, they will be informed by the IBMR team, on site, about the list necessary to gather them and return”, warns the IBMR professor.
