International Tourism Fair promises to be a window to the diversity and beauty of northern Brazil

O International Tourism Fair – Roraima 2024carried out by Sebrae/RR and co-organized by the Government of Roraima, through the State Secretariat for Culture and Tourism (SECULT) and the Department of Tourism (DETUR), will take place from April 26th to 28th, from 5pm to 10pm, in Roraima Garden Shopping, with free entry.

With the support of several partners, such as the Brazilian Association of Travel Agencies of Roraima – ABAV, Brazilian Association of Bars and Restaurants – Abrasel, Fecomércio, Sesc, Senac, Sindearter, State University of Roraima – UERR, Federal Institute of Roraima – IFRR , the International Tourism Exhibition will provide a space for collective production, highlighting the natural beauty, cultural diversity and regionality of Roraima, aiming to strengthen tourism as one of the main economic activities in the State.

The action is also sponsored by companies: Mais 1 Café, Instituto Tecnologias Geo-Sociais (ITGS), Roka Hotel Boutique, Uiramutam Palace Hotel, Sicoob Amazônia, Eco Hotel, Kuravaina Tours CA and Presidente Figueiredo City Hall.

The event will offer a variety of lectures and attractions that address different aspects of tourism, from marketing strategies and artificial intelligence to gastronomic experiences and strategic management in accommodation facilities.

During the three days of the event, the program includes lectures, panels, business rounds, in addition to Hackatur – an encouraging space for the emergence of new solutions for tourism, a marathon of creation and development so that ideas can be implemented in good business.

Highlights include lectures such as “Google, Marketing and Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities for Tourism”, which will explore how these tools can boost the sector, and “Community-based Tourism: How to promote the best experiences for tourists”, which will discuss the importance of involvement of local communities in the development of sustainable tourism.

In addition, there will be panels such as “Advances in tourism in indigenous territories”, which will reflect on the appreciation and preservation of indigenous cultures in the context of tourism. Other topics include modern traveler behavior trends, rural tourism and gastronomy, sustainability and accessibility in tourism, among others.

In addition to the technical program, the event features several business exhibitors from the hospitality and tourism segment, and a “Creative Business Space” with craft and gastronomy businesses. The visiting public will also be able to enjoy good music from Roraima, with local artists during the three days, from 8 pm to 10 pm. Halisson Crystian, Euterpe and Neuber Uchôa are some of the names present.

Business roundtable

This moment at the show will be an unmissable opportunity for companies, public and private institutions, and professionals who work or are interested in investing in the various links in the tourism production chain. The Business Roundtable takes place on Sunday (28th), from 2pm to 6pm and its target audience is: agencies, tourist transport, accommodation, attractions, tour operators.

The International Tourism Exhibition – Roraima 2024 will provide a space carefully designed to enhance business generation between travel agencies, tour operators, accommodation facilities and restaurants in the states of Amazonas and Roraima.

The Roraima State Tourism Forum brings together the Government of the State of Roraima, state tourism trade entities, higher education institutions, Federal Government bodies and municipal tourism bodies will meet to address important issues related to actions, policies and strategic measures aimed at developing tourism in Roraima. The meeting is open to the public.

· 8pm – PROMOTING THE BRAZIL DESTINATION ABROAD AND THE IMPORTANCE OF SAFE TOURISMwith Mateus José Alves Pinto (Master and Bachelor in Tourism – UFPR, Experience Management and International Competitiveness Advisor at Embratur)

· 7pm – GASTRONOMIC TOURISM AND THE IMERU EXPERIENCE, with Denise Araújo (Adviser at Embratur, Journalist specializing in Business Communication, and in Gastronomy and Brazilian Cuisine, Owner of Letras Saborosas Gastronomia, Gastronomy columnist in the newspaper Folha de Boa Vista); and Ana Calleri (Owner of Café Imeru and local driver of the Kauwê Community tourist routes).

· 8pm – ADVANCES IN TOURISM IN INDIGENOUS TERRITORIESwith:
