More than 800 new beneficiaries need to collect the Prato Cheio Card at Banco de Brasília (BRB) branches or unlock their cards, according to the Secretariat for Social Development (Sedes). The monthly amount transferred is R$250 per family.

The beneficiaries of the program are people in situations of food and nutritional insecurity who made the request at the Social Assistance Reference Center (Cras).

These 841 beneficiaries were included in March this year. The deadline for collecting the card at BRB branches is May 8th. According to the program’s legislation, the beneficiary has two months, counting from its availability at the bank branch, to search for and unblock the card. Otherwise, you will lose the benefit and will need to make a new request to Cras.

“The family that was covered and does not withdraw the card no longer receives assistance from the Prato Cheio Card and still takes the place of other families that are also in a situation of food and nutritional insecurity and wait in line to be covered”, points out the secretary of Social Development, Ana Paula Marra.

Another 664 people with cards pending withdrawal/unblocking who were included in this month of April are also in this situation. In their case, the due date will be on June 5th.

The Prato Cheio Card currently serves 100,000 families, with a nine-month benefit payment cycle. To find out if you have been included and where to get the card, citizens must access the GDF Social website, enter the CPF and date of birth of the person registered.

The card is unlocked at the bank branch’s ATM or via the BRB app. From the moment it is considered, the family receives the credit, which is cumulative. In other words, if the citizen received it two months ago and did not use the resource, the credit for the two months will be available.
