The case of the woman who ‘lives’ with her mother in the McDonalds unit in the Leblon neighborhood, in Rio de Janeiro, gained a new chapter, after shocking many Brazilians. Now, she has opened a virtual crowdfunding to raise R$10,000.

According to the portal O Globo, Bruna Muratori, 31 years old, announced the fundraiser on social media, and so far has raised R$500, equivalent to 5% of her goal.

The financing opened on May 3rd and already has 17 supporters. In the description of the crowdfunding, Bruna says that she lost her privacy, shortly after the media covered the case.

However, she explains that, contrary to what was said and what many may believe, she does not live in the establishment, being just a customer. The fast food unit even offered her a job, due to her fluency in English, but she declined the offer.

“Because of the impact, I met wonderful people who really want to help, the game changed. Creating this kitty with the help of friends, I hope to get an apartment soon, being able to help with a deposit or other expenses”, he wrote.

In the description, Bruna also said that the money would help her train as a paramedic and in Law.

Case shocked Brazilians

Many Brazilians were shocked after the case of Bruna Muratori, 31 years old, who lives with her mother, Susane Muratori, 64 years old, in a McDonalds unit, gained repercussions. The two live in the cafeteria unit in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro.

The woman told CBN that she finds herself in this situation because she is looking for a house to rent in the region for up to R$1,200.
