Truck driver commits several traffic violations and is arrested in Bahia

A truck driver was arrested in an operation carried out on April 25th, Thursday, at around 2:00 pm, at km 920 of BR-116, in the municipality of Encruzilhada, Bahia, after being caught committing a series of traffic violations. Traffic. While driving, the man overtook in a continuous lane and forced his way over the PRF vehicle.

He was subsequently approached, and the PRF’s requested the truck and driver’s documents. After being fined, he was ordered to follow the agents to the PRF Operational Unit in Encruzilhada, to inspect the note and the cargo.

During the journey, the police teams noticed that the driver threw a yellow bag containing 18 extra strong nobesium cards, popularly known as rivet, out of the cabin.

Amphetamines are drugs used by drivers to stay awake longer and thus drive a longer distance. The “rivet” is prohibited by ANVISA, being imported and sold illegally in the country and representing a huge risk to traffic safety.

The driver was charged with traffic violations and will be charged to the Special Criminal Court for possession of the drug. The operation was supported by the Civil Police of Bahia (PC/BA) and the Military Police of Bahia (PM/BA).
