The Regional Council of Engineering and Agronomy of Mato Grosso do Sul (Crea-MS) swore in last Friday (19/04), at its headquarters in Campo Grande, the inspectors of the Council of 13 cities and their regions in Mato Grosso do South. Among them, two new inspectors are from Dourados: agronomist Werner Semmrolth and mechanical engineer Wilson Espindola Passos.
In the city there are 2,878 professionals with active Crea-MS registration. In addition to Dourados, the inspectors will represent the Council in the cities of Caarapó, Deodápolis, Douradina, Fátima do Sul, Glória de Dourados, Itaporã, Jateí and Vicentina.
Inspector Werner Semmerolth has a degree in agronomy from Esalq/USP (1978); he is a specialist in sugar energy; He is director of the Laguna Álcool e Açúcar plant and advisor to the Association of Bioenergy Producers of Mato Grosso do Sul (Biosul).
Inspector Wilson Passos is a mechanical engineer graduated from Unigran where he is also a professor. He has a background in physics and mathematics and a master’s and doctorate in science and technology.
“Today we present to society a group of professionals committed to promoting actions that truly value professionals in our State”, said the president of Crea-MS, Vânia Mello, during the ceremony.
Inspectors observe the practices of engineering, agronomy and geoscience professionals in their locations, ensuring that ethical conduct and administrative actions are aligned with the strategies defined by Crea-MS.
“These supporters are an important channel between the Council and the community, helping to ensure that our inspection is increasingly efficient and adapted to local realities”, commented president Vânia Mello. Crea’s supervision works to combat engineering, agronomy and geoscience activities being carried out by unqualified people.
