The development of digital skills is increasingly important for student training. And when educators engage in this process, big changes happen in the classroom.
An example of this is the state of Mato Grosso, which incorporated digital skills in the training of public school educators and presented excellent results. This innovative initiative occurred through the implementation of the Teacher Training Program in Digital Skills, in 2023, made possible through a partnership between the State Department of Education (Seduc-MT) and Fundação Telefônica Vivo and Instituto Natura.
The Teacher Training Program was structured into training tracks, composed of courses offered in a hybrid format, in the areas of Pedagogy, Digital Citizenship and Professional Development, and included 19,746 registered in 2023. Throughout the year, they were made available to teachers and managers of the state network until 66 hours of trainingadapted to each teacher in a personalized way, taking into account the initial level of digital skills.
