Still undefeated in the Brasileirão, Bragantino is in third place, with eight points. Massa Bruta has also gone six games without losing, including the South American and Copa do Brasil matches. In the last round, they drew 1-1 with Fortaleza, away from home.

Flamengo, in turn, is trying to get back on track after Carioca’s title. The team is having a difficult start in the Libertadores and comes from two games without winning in the Brasileirão: they drew 0-0 with Palmeiras and lost 2-0 to Botafogo. Last Wednesday, they won again by beating Amazonas 1-0 in the Copa do Brasil, but ended up booed by the fans for their poor performance.

Bragantino – Coach: Pedro Caixinha

Massa Bruta should have changes in relation to the starting team that drew 1-1 with Sousa-PB, last Wednesday, 1, in the third phase of the Copa do Brasil. In midfield, there is a possibility that Eric Ramires, Lincoln or Lucas Evangelista will start as starters. In attack, Eduardo Sasha should return to the starting lineup in place of Thiago Borbas. Vitinho and Helinho are also possibilities in place of Bruno Gonçalves (injured) and Nacho Laquintana.

Probable lineup: Clayton; Nathan Mendes, Pedro Henrique, Eduardo Santos and Juninho Capixaba; Jadsom, Eric Ramires and Gustavo Neves (Lincoln or Lucas Evangelista); Vitinho, Helinho (Mosquera) and Eduardo Sasha.

  • Embezzlements: Andres Hurtado (ankle trauma), Bruninho (abdominal muscle injury), Raul (sprained ankle) and Nathan Mendes (in transition after knee surgery).
  • Hanging: Juninho Capixaba, Luan Cândido and Vitinho.

Flamengo – Coach: Tite

After being booed at the Copa do Brasil, Flamengo seeks recovery

With an eye on next Tuesday’s game against Palestino in the Libertadores, Tite will continue rotating the squad and should spare Varela and Fabrício Bruno. Taking their place are Wesley and Léo Ortiz, who will face his former club for the first time. Cebolinha and Arrascaeta traveled with the squad, but will only be available in Chile, where Flamengo will travel after the match.

Probable lineup: Rossi, Wesley, Léo Ortiz, Léo Pereira and Ayrton Lucas; Allan, Igor Jesus, Gerson and De la Cruz; Bruno Henrique and Pedro.

  • Embezzlements: Cebolinha and Arrascaeta (transition) and Pulgar (left ankle).
  • Hanging: Léo Pereira and Fabrício Bruno.
