Weather forecast in Minas: will the heat wave continue?

This weekend the warning is for high temperatures and low relative humidity.

This Friday (03/5), a strong mass of dry and hot air leaves the weather stable in Minas. The heat wave is expected to continue hitting the State in the coming days. In Belo Horizonte, temperatures this Friday can reach 31 ° C. Inland, maximum temperatures range from 25 to 35 ° C.

The highest temperature predicted for today should be in Almenara, in the Jequitinhonha Valley, 35.4 °C. In the capital, the Santo Agostinho weather station can reach 31.4 °C.

The minimum temperature recorded in Minas was in Monte Verde, in the Serra da Mantiqueira region, where thermometers dropped to 10.7 °C. In BH, the Cercadinho station recorded 17.6 °C.

For the rest of the day, the sky varies between clear and partially cloudy in all regions of the State and is partially cloudy in Rio Doce, Mucuri and Jequitinhonha. Hot, dry air contributes to low relative humidity in the afternoon.

Temperature on the weekend

In the coming days, the weather should remain stable and miners should feel temperatures vary between 10 °C and 36 °C. According to an alert from Inmet, the heat wave should continue until tomorrow in Triângulo Mineiro, Alto Paranaíba, South/Southwest, West, Campo das Vertentes, Metropolitan Region of Belo Horizonte, Rio Doce and Zona da Mata.

With no rain forecast, the weekend should see a variation between partly cloudy skies and clear skies. The dry weather also continues on Saturday and Sunday, so relative humidity will remain low.
