Fluminense and Sport face each other, this Wednesday, at 3pm, at the Moça Bonita stadium, in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro. The match is valid for the second leg of the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil U-17. Entry to the game will be free.

Sport’s coach, Erick Luchetti, acknowledged that the red-black mission will be difficult. But he highlighted that he believes the Pernambuco team is capable of reversing the situation.
– We have to play an almost perfect game because the less we make mistakes, the more chances we have of being successful. But I also see it as normal for us to go to Moça Bonita and come back with a positive result too. Why not? – asked coach Erick Luchetti, from Sport.
This is the third consecutive year that Sport has reached the semi-finals of the Copa do Brasil, being eliminated by Palmeiras, in 2022, and Atlhetico Paranaense, last year.
The squad led by coach Felipe Canavan, in turn, having conceded just one goal in the entire tournament, arrives strong at the decisive match. Center forward Keven Samuel, focused, stated that he does not want to count on the advantage against Leão.
– We achieved a good result in Recife, but, in a Copa do Brasil semi-final and against a great opponent like Sport, we need to raise our level of concentration. It’s going to be challenging,” he said.
Sport has no absences for the game. However, Fluminense lost striker Matheus Reis, who is working for the club’s main team.
On the other side of the bracket, the teams from São Paulo and Cruzeiro will face each other to reach the final. In the first game, Raposa won away from home 1-0. The two teams will also face each other this afternoon, starting at 4pm.
