Woman is killed inside her home in BA and her partner is suspected of the crime

A 41-year-old woman died after being beaten in the house where she lived, in the city of Conceição do Coité, 200 km from Salvador. According to information from the Águia Resgate Brigade, witnesses said that the suspect of committing the crime was a companion of the victim, who fled the scene by jumping out the window.

According to the brigade, the victim was identified as Edneia Nascimento dos Reis. Her body was found with signs of beating. Two children, daughters of the victim, witnessed the crime.

Military police were called and carried out patrols in the region, but did not find the suspect. The case will be investigated as feminicide by the Conceição do Jacuípe police station.

According to the Feira de Santana police, the suspicion is that the crime was committed by her ex-partner, who did not accept the end of the relationship. The man also fled and is wanted.
