DETRAN/AC invests in equipment and social programs in Cruzeiro do Sul

The CEO of Detran/AC, Tainara Martins, announced a series of investments and initiatives that aim to improve traffic and the lives of Acre citizens.

In response to a request from Governor Gladson Cameli, ten powerful motorcycles were delivered to the Juruá regional traffic inspection team. These vehicles will be used mainly to respond to traffic accidents in the region and to accompany authorities.

In addition, the department delivered a car and a motorcycle that will be used for retesting the “Detran Aprova Mais” program.

“This program, recently announced by the governor in Rio Branco, aims to help those who fail the license test, which is often more expensive than the value of the license itself. Detran will offer the retest free of charge to low-income people who earn up to the minimum wage”, informed Tainara.

Registration for the Social Card program, which offers 5,000 places for qualification, is now open. There are vacancies for all municipalities in the state, including the Juruá region. The modalities are the same: rural, urban and student license. Interested people can search for information on the DETRAN website, in the Official Gazette and on DETRAN’s social networks.

Detran is also investing in personnel. Since 2010, there has been no public competition in the traffic department. Now, 91 vacancies are open across the state of Acre. Registration began today and will continue for a good period.

By 2026, the CNH Social program, the traffic department’s largest social program, will cover 22 thousand people. This includes vacancies for people with disabilities, promoting inclusion, citizenship and job creation.

Detran also has a program called Detran Escola, which operates in schools on an educational basis, helping children and teachers with transversal themes.
