Senai de Alagoas competes for places in Adobe’s global competition

After having a collaborator in the Top 3 worldwide, the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai) of Alagoas is once again participating in the Brazilian selection for the Certiport Adobe Certified Professional World Championship, the world championship for creative students using Adobe technologies in Illustrator or Photoshop. This year, the event takes place in Los Angeles (USA), at the end of July.

The results of the national test, held on March 23, will be announced next Friday (5). The expectation is positive in relation to Raiza Oliveira, from Alagoas, who graduated from the technical course in Internet Information Technology at Senai, and Thereza Regina, an intern in the Digital Solutions sector at Senai, as a graphic designer. In Alagoas, the test took place at Senai Poço.

Regardless of the result of the selection promoted by ENG DTP and Multimídia, Alagoas is already highlighted. The graphic designer from the Senai Poço school Egberto Oliveira, who, last year, won 3rd position overall in the world competition, among 164 creatives from 82 countries, received two invitations.

One to be a judge at this national stage and another to go to the international stage in the United States. “It was really cool that they recognized me and trusted that I could contribute to the next competitors,” he said.

Senai Alagoas’ Technological Education supervisor, Eduardo Cabral, believes in a good result for Alagoas. “Senai de Alagoas has already demonstrated its vocation for training the best professionals in the world. Not just in the Adobe competition, but in other global professional education competitions, such as Worldskills. We are confident in our competitors!”, he highlighted.

In the world stage, participants compete for prizes of US$8,000 for the champion, US$4,000 for the runner-up and US$2,000 for third place. All finalists win tickets to Disneyland.
