Doctors who specialize in pediatric surgery and are interested in working in health units managed by the state can register in a public call. The contract is temporary and salaries vary from R$7,000 to R$22,000.

According to the State Department of Health (SES), the objective of the call is to hire specialists to work at the General Hospital of Palmas (HGP).
For those who work 90 hours a month, the remuneration is R$7,499.70. For 180 hours per month, the salary is R$14,999.40 and for 270 hours, R$22,499.10. There is also hazard pay, which varies from 8% to 12% of the remuneration.
