Two men are shot in a robbery at a beauty salon in Manaus

A pair was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a robbery at a beauty salon, in the Alvorada I neighborhood, in Manaus. The crime took place on February 10th. On that occasion, a man died after being hit by a stray bullet and another victim was shot while reacting to the robbery.

At the time, according to information from the Amazonas Civil Police (PC-AM), the robbers entered the salon, captured employees and customers, attacked local employees and stole cell phones and electronic devices, in addition to taking all of the establishment’s income from the day.

This Tuesday (2), two robbers, suspected of involvement in the crimes of robbery and homicide, were arrested, a 23-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man.

After the robbery, while the four criminals were fleeing, a man who was on the street where the crime occurred reacted and the suspects shot at him. The shot grazed the victim’s leg.

However, one of the other shots fired by the criminals went through the gate of a house and hit resident Carlos Alberto Alves de Andrade, 50, in the neck.

The victim was rescued and taken to João Lúcio Hospital and Emergency Room, in the East Zone of the capital, in a serious condition, but, after a month in hospital, he could not resist his injuries and was declared brain dead on March 13th. .
