On the 9th, the Mata do Rolo System, responsible for supplying part of Rio Largo, will undergo preventive maintenance carried out by the Alagoas Sanitation Company (Casal). The intervention consists of cleaning the raw water intake, with the aim of removing vegetation and sand, an essential procedure that must be carried out periodically. During the service, which is scheduled to take place from 8 am to 6 pm, the system will be temporarily inoperative. After the work is completed, Casal will resume pumping water, which will be distributed by BRK to the population.

The following day, April 10, it will be the turn of the electromechanical equipment in the system that supplies Coqueiro Seco to undergo preventive maintenance. The work is scheduled to take place from 9am to 6pm, and during this period there will be a suspension of water supply from Casal to BRK. According to the company, these actions are preventive in nature and aim to increase operational safety, guaranteeing supply to the population and avoiding possible equipment failures.

These interventions are essential to guarantee the quality and continuity of water supply for the populations of Rio Largo and Coqueiro Seco. Preventative maintenance is an essential practice to avoid more serious problems and ensure water security in these communities. The entire service will be monitored and executed by Casal’s technical team, aiming for efficiency and speed in completing the scheduled activities.
