Sunny Saturday with no chance of rain in Corumbá

The forecast from Cemtec (Weather and Climate Monitoring Center) indicates sun and little cloudiness for this Saturday (27) in Mato Grosso do Sul. This is due to the action of a high pressure system that generates an atmospheric blockage. Winds from the North quadrant intensify hot and dry air over the State.

The thermometers in Campo Grande initially read 24°C and reached 33°C throughout this Saturday. The municipality of Dourados has a minimum of 23°C and a maximum of 35°C. On the border with Paraguay, Ponta Porã varies between 22°C and 32°C. Iguatemi and Anaurilândia record minimums of 23°C and maximums of 34°C and 36°C, respectively.

In the Southwest region, Porto Murtinho wakes up at 25°C and is 36°C in the afternoon. In Corumbá, in the Pantanal, temperatures start at 26°C and rise to 36°C. Aquidauana has a minimum of 24°C and a maximum of 35°C.

In the north of the state, values in Coxim vary between 22°C and 35°C. In the Bolsão region, the minimum in Paranaíba is 22°C and the maximum is 34°C, while Três Lagoas records 23°C in the morning and 37°C at the hottest times of the day.

“Above average heat and the presence of dry air have impacts on the lives of the population and some recommendations are essential, such as drinking plenty of fluids, humidifying environments and, when possible, avoiding exposure to the sun during the hottest and driest times of the day, among other recommendations”, advises Cemtec.
