In the next chapters of Renascer, Buba (Gabriela Medeiros) makes peace with her mother and accepts an invitation to go to her old house and talk to her fatherbut once there the psychologist will be offended by Humberto (Guilherme Fontes), who calls her a freak, being defended by Augusto (Renan Monteiro).

As soon as she arrives in Rio, Venâncio’s widow (Rodrigo Simas) comes face to face with Meire (Malu Galli) on the street, but the woman turns her back on her daughter. The two meet again visiting the girl’s grandfather’s grave.

This time, Humberto’s wife apologizes to Buba for her behavior and convinces her to go to her old house for coffee. Once there, the psychologist will be criticized by her father.

The prejudiced person does not accept that their daughter is a trans woman. During the argument, he even calls her a freak. Augusto, who will be accompanying his sister-in-law, comes to his crush’s defense, picking a fight with Meire’s husband. Know more!

In the next chapters of Renascer, Buba will be passing through Rio and ends up meeting his mother twice. The first time, Meire despises her daughter on the street. The second time, the two bump into each other in front of the psychologist’s grandfather’s grave and make up.

Humberto’s wife invites Venâncio’s widow to come to her house for coffee, and she ends up giving in. Once there, however, Augusto’s crush will come face to face with his father and the atmosphere will be bad.

The prejudiced man does not accept Buba’s gender change in any way and the two end up arguing badly. In the middle of the fight, Meire’s husband even calls her a freak, saying that the son he had died.

Augusto, who until then was silent, tries to calm things down, but ends up being threatened with aggression by the man. The couple then decides to leave before the worst happens.

Then, Meire runs towards her daughter and makes a request, in tears. “I don’t know if it’s too much to ask, daughter… But I wanted to give you a hug… Just a little one!”, she will say while being watched by the neighbors.

For a few seconds, Buba remains still, but ends up giving in to her mother’s plea. The poor woman says she prayed for the psychologist during all the years they didn’t see each other.

“You look so beautiful, daughter… But so beautiful… I love you!”, she declares.
