The hearing was chaired by delegate Nilson Farias. The police authority explained to the report that Jocilene and Wanderlei, arrested in Campo Grande (MS) suspected of being the masterminds behind the execution of Nen Game, said that Maranho and the businessman had a disagreement over the purchase of a cell phone. Mother and son deny being the ones who ordered the crime.
Maranho would have gone to Nen’s stand and they both had a disagreement. The suspects reported that, after the disagreement, Nen Game had arranged with Maranho that he would go to a residence, in the Santa Laura neighborhood, in Cuiab, to deliver the cell phone.
Maranho then waited for the device in the property. Soon after, a man arrived at the scene, called Girlei, and when the victim came out, she was shot to death. The executor, who has not yet been identified by the Civil Police, fled.
The investigation’s hypothesis is that after Girlei’s death, Jocilene and Wanderlei began to distrust Nen Game and hired Silvio Peixoto Jnior, 26 years old, to execute the businessman. Cleyton de Oliveira de Souza, 27 years old – who was in the line of fire – was reportedly killed by accident.
“They (me and son) denied the crime. But, we have enough elements to reach the conclusion that they hired the suspect from Uberlndia (MG) for R$10,000 to execute the businessman,” said Nilson.
Jocilene and Wanderlei will undergo a custody hearing this Wednesday (3). They should be transferred to Cuiab in the next few days.
