The Espírito Santo Faculty of Music (Fames) will celebrate 70 years of activities with a schedule of free events in the area of Music, aimed at students, teachers, musicians and interested people from the community. The program takes place between May 7th and 29th, at the HubES+ headquarters, located at Praça Costa Pereira, in the center of Vitória.

Masterclasses, lectures and workshops will be held, covering areas such as musicology, composition, musical education, diversity and other subjects converging with Music.

“Bringing the event to HubES+ has great meaning for the institution. With 70 years of existence, Fames is now able to combine tradition with a vision for the future. The environment of innovation, creativity and technology that the Hub offers allows us to connect teaching, research and extension to the solutions that music is capable of creating for society. It is in this atmosphere that the academic community can develop what is most advanced”, says the director of Fames, Fabiano Araújo.

ES+ Hub

HubES+ is the space dedicated to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in Espírito Santo. With a welcoming and collaborative environment, HubES+ offers a wide variety of services, including mentoring, training, work spaces and cultural presentations. All spaces are prepared for the exchange of ideas and experiences, providing support and encouragement for creative entrepreneurs to transform their ideas into successful businesses.

“It is with great enthusiasm that we celebrate 70 years of Fames, with the rich trajectory that has made it a fundamental pillar in the training of musicians and educators in Espírito Santo. This approach to Hub ES+ reflects the continuous evolution of its educational model, in dialogue with the innovation and entrepreneurship that characterize this multifaceted space that is our hub. Fames’ pioneering spirit is its strong brand, and it continues to open new paths towards the future, connecting tradition and innovation”, states the Secretary of State for Culture, Fabricio Noronha.

Most of the activities will be carried out by the college’s teachers, a way of offering the community the content developed at the academy, contributing to the development of musicians, music educators and professionals in the field.
