Firefighters are called to capture alligator replica in Minas Gerais

In Minas Gerais, the Fire Department was called in the early hours of Monday, 1st, to rescue an alligator that scared a security guard at a condominium in Vespasiano, in greater Belo Horizonte MG.

According to the security guard, the animal was motionless under a jabuticaba tree. Upon seeing the animal, the man called the Fire Department who tried to capture the animal. When the firefighters used a tool to lasso the alligator’s mouth, they realized that it was a replica in the shape of an alligator.

The corporation itself announced on its social networks about the “Fake” alligator and said that it appeared to be very realistic. The military also informed that in case of doubt, people should contact the competent authorities.

The fake animal was created by biologist and sculptor Adriano Marques de Souza, who has a company specializing in creating animal replicas. After all the commotion, the garden alligator will remain in the same place.
