Russian air force took action and blocked attack on civilian population of the peninsula

TASS – Ukraine’s armed forces made an attempt to attack Crimea using long-range missiles last night, said Vladimir Rogov, chairman of the We Stand Together with Russia movement.
“Last night, Russian authorities activated air defenses over Dzhankoy and Simferopol, while Ukrainian militants carried out a missile attack on the Republic of Crimea,” Rogov wrote on his Telegram channel. According to him, the Ukrainians used several ATACMS ballistic missiles in an attempt to attack civilians on the peninsula.

Earlier, advisor to the head of Crimea, Oleg Kryuchkov, asked Crimean citizens to refrain from taking photos of air defenses being activated or posting relevant images on social media. Additionally, traffic was suspended on the Crimean Bridge overnight.
