The document, prepared by the State General Accounting Directorate, presents itself as an annual accounting required by law and an important instrument of transparency and social control.
The numbers, referring to the 2023 financial year, carefully present the budget execution (revenues and expenses); accounting statements (budget, financial and equity balances; variations and cash flows); and demonstrative quantifier tables.
A difference of this year’s report compared to previous ones is that it was prepared exclusively in digital format, that is, without printing costs, and in accordance with express authorization from Aleac and the Court of Auditors of the State of Acre (TCE).
“It is a fundamentally important piece for society to monitor the main revenues and expenses during the 2023 financial year, as well as consult how public resources were collected and applied”, said the Secretary of Finance, Amarísio Freitas.
The 2023 General Balance Sheet will be made available, in the next few days, on the Sefaz institutional website.
