With terminal cancer, Isabel Veloso is threatened with a heart attack and interrupts her honeymoon: ‘Morphine and anxiety’

Isabel Veloso17-year-old influencer, who shows her routine living with terminal cancer, got married last Monday, 22nd, to Lucas Borbas. On Instagram this Tuesday, the 30th, the young woman said that she had to interrupt her honeymoon after having a threatened heart attack and a lot of pain due to the tumor.

“The pain returned, and so did the oxygen cannula around my nose… I had a threat of a heart attack yesterday, 29/04, due to the location of the tumor, morphine and anxiety. Everything working together…”, said Isabel.

The influencer reported that the tumor, located around her heart, was small and stabilized, and now “it wants to show up again”. “He [o tumor] it’s there in my heart and yesterday, after the pain, my heartbeat went to 150 bpm”, he said, explaining that he has equipment at home to measure the heartbeat, as well as many medications. Isabel is also short of breath and is therefore using oxygen.

Despite the situation, the young woman reassured the public: “Now I am better, as expected. I’m still at home recovering and hoping to be able to continue the honeymoon trip, which unfortunately was interrupted. Thank you for the messages of affection and comfort. You can rest assured now.”

The young woman, diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, gained prominence on social media by showing her routine living with terminal cancer, reflections on faith and recent achievements, such as being accepted into psychology college. As she reported, she only has 4 to 6 months to live.

Isabel Veloso’s diagnosis

At the age of 15, Isabel Veloso was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer that originates in the lymphatic system. In January of this year, she discovered that the disease was incurable and stopped treatment. “I am terminal because I no longer receive cancer treatment due to the time I have to live,” she explained.

In December 2023, she underwent a bone marrow transplant and underwent chemotherapy. The doctors then considered that she had been cured. However, the disease returned in a more aggressive form, reaching the condition of terminal cancer.

Isabel has a 17-centimeter tumor, located close to her heart and between her two lungs. Earlier this month, the influencer said that the tumor’s growth had stabilized.

“I went for a CT scan and I’m very happy with the result, it showed that the tumor is stabilized in its growth, it’s still small, it’s working, who knows, maybe I’ll be here longer. I’m very happy with that. I wanted to thank you for every loving message I received before having the CT scan”, he shared.
