Barbra Streisand shocks when she asks Melissa McCarthy’s comments about using Ozempic

Barbra Streisand is receiving a barrage of criticism after asking Melissa McCarthy if she had taken Ozempic to lose weight. The public question was in a comment on the actress’s last publication, made this Monday (29). Although its use is indicated for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, Ozempic is used off label – that is, outside the instructions on the leaflet – for weight loss.

“The Little Mermaid” star posted a photo with director Adam Shankman as they attended a benefit gala to support musical director Matthew Bourne – Center Theater Group’s CTG Gala. “[Cores] Pasties just to honor the amazing Matthew Bourne last night, with this guy, Adam Shankman. While stars like Mariska Hargitay, Elizabeth Banks, Glenn Close, Octavia Spencer and Debby Ryan commented on how their colleague was doing “beautiful” It is “gorgeous”Barbra asked about the artist’s weight. “Give him my regards. Did you take Ozempic?”asked the 82-year-old singer.

The speech generated mixed reactions from fans. While some criticized Barbra, others stated that they are “friends” and they would be free to ask such a question. “How embarrassing”wrote one person. “Man, that’s so rude… Her body is none of your business, and Ozempic, if you’re not diabetic, is a very dangerous method.”completed another. “Babs.
