Following information published in the local press that the month of April would be marked by a few cold days, researcher Davi Friale used the portal O Tempo Aqui to inform that “there is no possibility of an incursion of cold polar air that could cause cold weather in Acre , at least in the first ten days of April”.

“This same weather forecast (except temperatures) is for Rondônia, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Goiás, Federal District, Peru and Bolivia”, he informed.

For the first week of the month, Friale believes it will be marked by sultry heat, high air humidity and daily rain in Acre. “Most of the time, it will be temporary and occasional rains, however, on some days, especially from Thursday onwards, there will be slightly more intense rains. Over the weekend, intense rains are expected, with the possibility of thunderstorms in most municipalities in Acre,” he added.

The maximum temperature in Acre during this week will fluctuate between 31 and 34ºC, however, on days when there is rain between 11am and 3pm, it will be below 30ºC. Now, the minimum temperatures will vary between 22 and 24ºC, in all municipalities in the state. “The winds will be blowing, predominantly, between weak and calm, from the north, with variations from the northwest and northeast. At times, moderate gusts may occur,” he concluded.
