O Sesi Lab of the Federal District promotes the 11th edition of Nigth Lab this Thursday (4). The event starts at 7pm and offers shows, interactive workshops and poetic conversations. The space invites the public to reflect on the use of artificial intelligence and shows how society is guided by algorithms. Tickets are available on the Sesi Lab website or at the museum box office and cost R$20 (half) and R$40 (full).

The event is a project inspired by the After Dark program, in the United States, and includes activities that explore technology. The program includes the interactive workshops “Activation: Virtual Mirror”, “Experimenting the Augmented Body” and “Fooling AI”, which take place from 7:30 pm to 10 pm.

According to the organizers, the shows will be hosted by singer-songwriter Maria Beraldo and the DJ duo Venga-Venga. Afterwards, there will be a conversation with scientist Zaika dos Santos about artificial intelligence and web 3.0.

The museum will occupy the LED panel, designed by the artist and researcher from Brasilia, Artur Cabral. The installation will have computational emergency as its guiding thread, from software to artistic installations to interactive objects.
