April begins with a risk of storms in several cities in Mato Grosso do Sul. The rain arrives in the state because of low pressure that develops from Paraguay. As a result, the formation of heavy clouds will bring more blows from this Monday (1st).

Much of the rain should be concentrated in the south of the state. Naviraí, Porto Murtinho, Ponta Porã and all cities on the border with Paraná and São Paulo are in the storm’s path, according to Climatempo.

Campo Grande also has rain forecast, with a minimum temperature of 22 ºC. During the afternoon, temperatures can reach 30 ºC in the capital. This same scenario is predicted by meteorologists for the region of Corumbá, Coxim and the cities that border Goiás and Mato Grosso.

Throughout the week, experts predict a lot of rain, concentrated in the central and northern regions of the state. The expectation is that the storms will cease from Wednesday (3).

“This condition doesn’t last long, we have the entry of hot humid air, there is wind circulation and this facilitates the formation of these rain clouds because it is still hot. So until the end of the week we will still have these showers happening in a more intense way. irregular and located over many areas of the state”, comments meteorologist Stefanie Tozzo.
