Strong evidence of the rooting of criminal factions in Santa Catarina appears from all corners. This Thursday (28), an action in the north of the state left three dead.

At the beginning of the week, in Florianópolis, one dead and one shot were also the result of an incident, contained by security forces, the confrontation and the presence of criminal organizations in the Capital.
Still in March, actions by the Military Police resulted in seizures of arsenals in Greater Florianópolis. The other day a rifle, of respected caliber, was seized in Palhoça.
More weapons were also recovered, as well as a quantity of drugs, following intelligence work by the police in São José. Not to mention dozens of other incidents that arise, indirectly, from the war for power and control of the drug trade.
All of this is a widespread explanation for five reasons: international drug trafficking and the Santa Catarina ports in Imbituba, Itajaí, Navegantes, São Francisco do Sul and Itapoá.
Currently, the main source of income for organized crime is international drug trafficking. Quite a job for the police forces that aim for this objective.
