A 5-year-old girl was beaten by her own father, in Agreste Pernambuco.
According to information passed on by witnesses to the Guardianship Council, the attacks against the child were carried out because of the noise made while the minor was playing at home.
The case happened on Wednesday (27), but was only confirmed by the Civil Police this Thursday (28).
The incident was recorded in the city of Brejo da Madre de Deus, in the Agreste of the State, 220 kilometers from Recife.
The 33-year-old suspect of committing the crime beat his daughter because he was bothered by her noise inside the house, in Mandaçaia, according to the city’s Guardianship Council.
According to the Civil Police, after attacking the girl, the attacker fled the scene and was never seen again.
Also according to the Guardianship Council, the child’s father is an ex-convict and is being monitored by an electronic ankle bracelet.
The victim’s mother, aged 25, was in another room at the time of the attacks.
When she heard the girl crying, she ran to stop the child’s father from continuing to attack his daughter.
The mother and girl were taken to the Santa Cruz do Capibaribe Sectional Police Station, also in Agreste Pernambuco, to register a police report.
This resulted in the corporation opening an inquiry to investigate the case. The two were interviewed by investigators.
