Governor Renato Casagrande will announce, this Thursday (28), the person chosen to head the Public Ministry of Espírito Santo. It will be prosecutor Francisco Berdeal, who was called to Palácio Anchieta a few hours ago.
He was the second most voted by his colleagues on the triple list, which features the three candidates with the highest number of votes in the category’s internal election. The law allows the governor to choose any of them, regardless of their position on the list.
Francisco Berdeal had the support of the current attorney general Luciana Andrade. He has been a prosecutor for 20 years. The inauguration will be on May 2nd and the mandate lasts two years.
