Goiás Social

The honorary president of OVG and coordinator of Goiás Social, first lady Gracinha Caiado, remembers that Social Credit encourages entrepreneurship in the most vulnerable population, who want to learn a new profession and undertake.

“The most effective social policy is one that enables a true crossing, a door out of poverty. We work so that families in Goiás have dignity and autonomy and can have the opportunity for a better future,” she says.

Social Credit guarantees the transfer of up to R$5,000 to students who meet CadÚnico requirements for the purchase of inputs and tools in the area of training. The amount does not need to be returned to the state, but the beneficiary must make some social contribution in the region where they live and in the area of the completed course.

The Qualification Grant of R$250 per month is granted with the aim of preventing school dropouts and encouraging the completion of training and qualification courses.
