Dona Patroa’s (Camila Morgado) days of submission will be behind us in Reborn. After closing her eyes for a long time so as not to see the true character of Egídio (Vladimir Brichta), the housewife will get tired and abandon her husband for good.
The nun will live with Sandra (Giullia Buscacio), who will advise her to seek her rights in court and get rid of the villain definitively. Furthermore, Dona Patroa will get closer to Rachid (Almir Sater), with whom she should start a romance.
In fact, Dona Patroa does not: in the new phase of her life, she will demand to be addressed as Iolanda, her real name.
When does Dona Patroa separate from Egídio in Renascer?
From the beginning of Renascer, Dona Patroa clings to her faith to try to seek her husband’s salvation. Even though she suffered from humiliation and infidelity, the housewife always believed that her husband would change with the strength of her prayer.
However, something has changed in her since the death of José Venâncio (Rodrigo Simas). She struggles to believe that it was not Egídio who killed José Inocêncio’s (Marcos Palmeira) son, but her husband’s guilt will become increasingly evident.
Faced with this and the new humiliations she will suffer from Egídio, Dona Patroa is filled with courage and leaves him once and for all. In an episode scheduled to air on May 7th, she will tell her husband that she is leaving.
Who is Dona Patroa’s new love in Renascer?
After leaving Egídio, Dona Patroa goes to meet Sandra, who is living in Jacutinga’s (Juliana Paes) old house with Eliana (Sophie Charlotte) and Rachid. The trio transforms the space into a forró club.
At the scene, she tells her daughter that she left Egídio for good and makes Sandra very happy. The young woman welcomes her mother with open arms and Dona Patroa starts to live with her. And precisely in the house of Jacutinga, a place that the nun condemned in the past.
It doesn’t take long for Dona Patroa to feel at home. Rachid invites her to dance and she accepts, having the time of her life. The dance, in fact, marks the beginning of the lovebirds’ coming together, who will begin a romance in the soap opera.
What is Dona Patroa’s name in Renascer?
To mark the new phase of Dona Patroa, the housewife will finally recover her own identity. She will get rid of once and for all the joking nickname created by her husband just to humiliate her.
In a chapter scheduled for May 8, Rachid will hear a conversation in which Dona Patroa tells her daughter that her name is Iolanda Fernandez de Brito. In the same conversation, she confesses to Sandra that she is sure that it was Egídio who killed Venâncio.
However, Iolanda’s new life will not be the easiest. After all, Egídio will do his best to make his ex-wife’s happiness as difficult as possible and, in the chapter on May 9, he will think of a way to harm her. But, the next day, Sandra will appear advising Iolanda to fight for her rights, as part of Egídio’s land belongs to her.
