A truck loaded with pine logs overturned and dropped the load on the banks of BR-282, close to the Parque da Saudade cemetery, in Lages, in Serra Catarinense. The accident happened on Saturday afternoon (27), after the vehicle hit the back of another twin truck.

Truck overturns after collision
According to information from the Military Fire Department, the driver of the overturned truck, a 65-year-old man, suffered minor injuries, including bruises on his face and arms. He was treated by the fire ambulance and taken to the emergency room at Nossa Senhora dos Prazeres Hospital.
According to firefighters, the unharmed driver, the owner of the truck and the PRF (Federal Highway Police) remained at the scene, carrying out investigations.
As the overturned truck had its body partially under the roadway, traffic management and road signage were carried out to avoid further incidents.
